Polycarbonate (PC) Materials

Polycarbonate, or PC, are thermoplastic polymers containing carbonate groups in their chemical structures. They are best known for their strength, toughness and transparency, promoting longer-lasting performance even in stressful conditions. Polycarbonate is a naturally clear, amorphous material that is easily worked, molded and thermoformed. Attributes include low water absorption, low shrinkage, high ductility, excellent creep resistance and overall good dimensional stability. Polycarbonate lends itself well to additives and blends for improved and custom outcomes.
